Interview Day

Today is the day of the interview that sends trickles down my spine and turns those cocoons in my tummy into fully grown butterflies (or moths whichever the case may be). Yes the SIM interview. Just some backdated information for those of you who aren't in the thick of things... its an interview for a teaching position at SIM and I have to give a 3 minute presentation (powerpoint and all) on issues relating to adult learners in an open learning context. Bleah bleah. I know what you're thinking 3 minutes... can't be that difficult... precisely cos its only 3 minutes darling... with my super fast talking, I'm down to over 4 minutes and I'm only taking up 2 salient points. And presentations always give me the shivers... I'll try to imagine everyone's naked in the room, they say that'll help. Damn I hope there isn't some hot chick in the room then... otherwise verrrry distracted, especially with me imagining her naked and all... oh be still my beating heart. Well, I hope they ask me questions about my teaching experiences and my theses... those are probably the only things I could talk about at length without having to think too much, especially with a roomful of stuffy academics (yes they are still considered academics even though they are from SIM...*snigger*) examining your every move. Okay okay, its 1130... gotta go get ready... interview is at 2...
