The American obsession with sports is beyond me. Everyday I hear my classmates talking about football, basketball, hockey and then there is also fantasy football, fantasy basketball, fantasy hockey (which is basically the imaginary version of the real thing), and everyday I roll my eyes. What is this obsession with men (or women) running, hitting, catching a plastic/leather/whatever ball??? I mean seriously, after all there's not much of storyline here is there, one team wins, one team loses. Next year, one team wins, one team loses. Essentially the same game, the same ending. I'll never get it and this is my ONE thing about being gay, I don't have to pretend to like sports. Thank god she doesn't.
