Rain

Ahhh yes the rainy season... I love the rain (only when I'm indoors and in my PJs of course). Left my windows opened last night and slept while the rain occassionally splashed in. I love sleeping with the rain pounding outside and my windows open. Its cold and fresh and the sound of the rain makes the best lullaby in my books.


I remember when we used to have a sofa out in our veranda at our old place, everytime it rained, I would rush out with my pillow and blanket in tow, tuck myself on that sofa and fall asleep with the rain gently splishing on my face. I can't explain why I like it so much, the sound of the rain, the feel of little droplets on your face, the comfort of being tucked under a blanket just puts me right to sleep.  (Plus sometimes there's the added bonus of getting sick the next day, which means, no school!)
